Pulse Design Studio entered and won this year’s poster contest co-sponsored by Let’s Save Michigan and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
The contest was an open call to artists, illustrators, and graphic designers for original posters to inspire Michiganders to revive their state. Designed in the fashion of the Works Progress Administration artwork of the 1930s, the artwork submisisons ranged from depicting regional, recognizable subjects from portraits to cityscapes and images of city life that remind the public of quintessential American values such as hard work, community and optimism.
